Workin It Hoops@workinithoops

2026 Hamze Yusuf (@Heemze4) had a SPECIAL season for Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota!! Arguably one of the best players in the state!! He is a lightning-quick, shifty point guard who is a great shot creator, playmaker, & finisher at the rim. Yusuf finished this season averaging: • 24 PPG • 4 APG • 7 RPG Currently holds an offer from LIU Brooklyn, and Interests from: South Dakota, Penn U, Western Illinois & Citadel. The 6’2 Point Guard is a finalist for Mr. Basketball in Minnesota, and just recently was named All-Conference in the state!! The senior guard would be a productive player that can help any program at the next level! @EPeagleshoops @Mentality_Shift @FreshCoastHoops @PrepHoops

@readswithravi Reminds me of the Mike Tomlin speech below. Many are capable, few are COMMITTED. It’s not about what you’re capable of - it’s about what you’re willing to do. Many people have talent, but commitment and excellence are rare. Commit, show up, do the work, and stack the days.

I have no bias based on socio-economic, political, or social standing amongst kids. I do not care who your father and mother are! I LOVE KIDS THAT WORK! 🎤 ⬇️ If a kid works hard they are my favorite, if they are willing to work hard in practice, I trust them more in games.
Caleb Corrill@CalebCorrill

“I get along great with every player that works hard” -Rick Pitino 99% of the time being a “coach’s favorite” rarely has to do with political bias or liking someone more - it comes down to a mutual trust between player and coach. Trust that the other will show up & bring it.
