The win screen is ALL that matters

People brush off the fact that Amy’s right in saying that Sonic is shy when it comes to relationships. That’s the dynamic of this, not that Sonic isn’t interested, but that he’s way too shy to confront those emotions contrasted to Amy who is true to her’s.

Speed as a distinction from Mario became Sonic's defining trait, ultimately flanderizing him into The Flash. I think this holds the series hostage, because there's so much more you can do (game design-wise) when you slow down sometimes.

I genuinely think Unreal Engine 6 will just be a more optimized version of UE5, and the real reason it's getting the new number so quickly is almost entirely for marketing reasons so they can kill the "UE5 sucks" talk going on.
