The number one thing people want to improve at work- based on our data- is learning new AI skills. Do you feel like you’re keeping up with all of the new AI tools at work? It’s a bit overwhelming, isn’t it? 😩

Mentors' capacities change over time, and so does your program. Now you can adjust them to fit your own capacity at any given time. ⏲️

Here’s my take. You can’t battle this type of activity and complaining virus with more agents to battle the complaining. You MUST create a culture that is self aware enough that, before people engage in stuff like this, they realize it’s not the place for them. Never underestimate the ability of a high performance, self aware culture to save you millions of dollars. Help your people grow, and they’ll feel like it’s the right place for them, and not clog up your HR team with millions of complaints written by suedo ai lawyers.

Mentorly had a massive year this year. Not only in net new growth, but even more exciting is the expansion we are seeing across programs. Thousands of mentorship hours but the impacton teams is what I'm most excited about. We released our first AI features, launching Mentorly Intelligence and People Analytics, alongside Goals, Capacity, and countless improvements to our existing systems. We also have a massive release coming in January focused on personalization of the matching algorithm (bring your own algo!) allowing you to bring your own logic to match their companys goals. With stronger people programs and more intentional suport and tooling for learning and development, we’ve seen higher performing teams, People leaders with a clearer understanding of skill gaps, more connected workforces that truly feel like they are working with and for each other, higher retention, and ultimately more learning and faster ramp because of our smart programs. It is helping people onboard faster, understand inner workings of culture better, make better decisions and avoid mistakes bc people generously share their past experiences and more meaningful - challenges and hard things they get through. As X likes to point out, our brains retain lessons best when they are done through STORY - through learning in context, and that's why mentorship works best for knowledge transfer. When people feel good about their individual career paths and feel like they are growing, they ultimately become culture carriers in a company and a net positive for their teams.Proud to support this work. Here’s to building better, more productive company cultures in 2026! 🎉
