Thank you @PeterAttiaMD for covering our work on rilmenidine as a new geroprotector. To clarify, we did multiple experiments by different folks using different methods (manual assays & lifespan machine), and rilmenidine consistently and robustly extended lifespan. As such, there is no doubt that rilmenidine is a new longevity drug - in worms. Whether these results in animals will translate to humans is of course the big open question which we'd love to explore next.

Ray Kurzweil believes we will reach longevity escape velocity in 4 years. Believing in LEV or that AI will cure aging is a human instinct. It's a way to cope with the absurdity of life and the inevitability of death. It is like believing in God. Unfortunately it's not real...
