@MarxistHeathen @REBIS_ATROX @PastCassandra The point is that afab/amab are not identities inherently. they are occurrences or adjectives which just dont mean the thing that people use them for hence the desire for ftm/mtf to be used in place of them when people use them

@MarxistHeathen @SchizoMellie @PastCassandra And a term generally more accurately descriptive is mtf/ftm. The point isnt that every trans person should be called that because like yeah i also dont want people to "call me it" but it does describe me, does that make more sense?

@Meowlo07 @SchizoMellie @PastCassandra i’ll say it super straightforward. she, like many trans other women, does not want to be referred to by either “mtf” or by “amab.” she’d prefer to be referred to as a woman and if it’s necessary to reference the fact that she’s not a cis woman, would prefer “trans woman”.
