@Vitispi3 I really struggle with original composition, so the sketching phase is by far the hardest for me. Rushing the sketching phase and getting stuck with a bad drawing is oftentimes what breaks my bigger pieces.

is it just me or does anyone else find the sketching phase to be the most difficult, demanding and oftentimes frustrating part of the art process

Made some decent progress on the study today.

I'm studying some sakuga from Buddy Daddies. I haven't finished the leftmost drawing, so if it looks like Rei's head disappeared, it's because Rei's head disappeared.

Brown is fucking ugly Brown exists, obviously, and can be done well. But please, please, please stop painting boring, ugly, monotonous brown things. Add some hue variety, get the temperature right, and make it beautiful.

@miyayoshianm So that's how you do the hairline properly! I've always struggled with getting the forehead/back-of-head to be the right size.
