We need to wear our masks, get vaccines, do whatever it takes to open institutions of public service (schools, social workers, programs, etc) ASAP to our youth. I have lost 10 former students in 2021 to self harm, overdose, or street violence. We must protect our youth.

Today was my dads birthday and I was handling it ok til my sister and brother posted very sentimental posts on social media with pics I hadn’t seen before. He would have been so proud of our successes and the men and women we became. He was so supportive of all of us. #RIP

@RodRobinsonRVA How did he try to deny you the opportunity to visit the White House and to meet you when you were the National Teacher of the Year. This is sadly a divisive post and not one of unity. Hopefully such divisiveness & partisan positions are not being taught at public schools.

You tried to deny me the opportunity to come into the house my enslaved ancestors built and shake my hand until you were pressured into it. Having to award an honor to a Black man who deserved it and not one of your Black cronies sickened you. You don’t care about Black people
