Over the years I've gone through many different monitors. - Cheapest possible 144hz in 2016 when I quit my job to boost - BenQ 240hz in 2018 when I was in Texas (remember this one fondly) - Some Asus(?) 270hz IPS 1440p (for $500, in 2022, great for the price) - G9 47" or something 240hz 5120x1440 In the past little while, I've obviously been playing less games than when it was my job to do so. For a bit I used an old as sin 1600x900 lcd panel. Great little monitor. $10. Then a Dell Ultrasharp, which is fine. Expensive for what it is. Someone at work bought 3 BenQ 3:2 monitors and I knew that in the very near future I'd cave and buy one. I did that. It's, so far, the best purchase I've made in the past year. Maybe more. It's a much more pleasant experience to work with a 4k 3:2 monitor than it is to work with 16:9,32:9,21:9. 3:2 is the move.
