Wonderful couple of days visiting Wasaho elementary in Fort Severn. Enjoyed visiting with former students, and meeting the wonderful people of this incredible community. No polar bears to be seen on this trip. Maybe next time.😀

Today we celebrate the International Day of Women & Girls in Science, adopted by the United Nations to encourage, support & mentor more girls and women in this field.
Enjoyed the visit to Mishkeegogamang community school last week. Awesome conversations and work being done by the team there to support the science of reading programs. Loved the traditional crafts class at KiHS and deer hide mittens!
