Its design clearly echoes motifs from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The sterile white interiors, similar color palette, carefully structured geometry of the space, and that oppressive sense of “perfection” all strongly resemble the Hilton space station hotel from the movie. What makes this even more interesting is that Capcom has long been known for its love of cinematic aesthetics.
