@Meliseymo @mete_civelek To ultimately decide, I sat down with my advisors’ friends who owned a local biotech. We came up with 5 places and he emailed all of them on my behalf. My advisor and I narrowed down the list to Denali Therapeutics, and I have no regrets! Definitely connect with @sonnetseville

@Meliseymo I second @mete_civelek and @sonnetsville tweets. It is definitely possible, but if it does not fit in your schedule/timeline there are now industry postdoc opportunities as well. To find my internship I looked at a list of places previous students went. Also met with one alum.

Anyone in a neuroscience-related field do an internship during their PhD? It seems really common for other fields but I don't see many folks in neuroscience pursuing internships during their PhD.
Would love to know how people find neuro/bioinformatics/industry internships too!
