By Jan. 7, those hidden hotspots came back to life with our predicted Santa Ana winds, as the Palisades Fire… killing 12 people and destroying more than 6,800 structures -wiping out entire communities. It doesn’t have to be this way. Protocols exist, we need to demand they are used.

@spencerpratt you can’t blame newsom for the fires. i live here, we had hurricane force winds that are very very rare, made it very difficult to fight the fires. i am not in the fire zone but i lost half my roof as did a lot of my neighbors. helicopters carrying water couldn’t fly.

I come from three generations of Northwest forestry experts — one a firefighter who later worked with several U.S. Presidents. 🌲🔥 He taught me that fires can smolder underground for weeks… even years. 2 years ago, in our film Hotshot, I tried to warn everyone that Newsom was NOT doing the fuels clearance that CA needed, and that everyone’s homes were gonna get nuked as a result. I tried. Nobody listened. I hope that changes before Laguna or Bel Air gets hit.

It ok Paul - sometimes you just have to speak the truth without worrying about the political implications. Charlie was a father, like you, husband like you , friend to millions again like you and a creative thinker … well you get the picture. He was murdered in daylight in front of thousands . No man should die like that. It’s a human thing. Not a “both sides “ thing Love you ❤️

The demonization and villainizing of those who don’t share our beliefs by BOTH SIDES has now resulted in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Another tragedy and unspeakable act of cowardice that betrays our liberty, our democracy and our country.

Hey Robbie! I should probably talk on the”bat line” however, I want to be loud and clear: This has been devastating for millions of people and should be for any “normal” person walking this earth. The fact is, not for everyone is for people like Charlie, Scott You and many others, and you all are taking real risks everyday. You are the nicest person I’ve ever known. Doesn’t matter the politics. You defend your friends not just family. But you’ve always been “Family First” Which makes me want to plead my case. I could not take another shot to the heart, nor could millions of other friends and family if anything happened to you. While everyone pushes “get out there!” I mirror your creed “Family First”.
