Next thing you know, you start going after things you shouldn't have been going after in the first place. Focus is the word. Staying focused on your own path. Everyone has distinct paths.

These days, when I start liking or desiring something, I stop to think about where the desire is originating from. Am I inheriting some other person's desire, or is it what I actually want? If I realise it's the former, I throw away the desire. These things can be so subtle.

This is rough.
