Has anyone got any idea what this plane was doing. It was flying over our place in a grid pattern about 100m off the ground. If it drugs, flying over the paddock is the wrong place 🤔

@HoolyMcg @6PR Hazardous risk PLUS the risk of diesel algee. Thoes worried about Bowen's "dirty fuel" (just more ppm of sulphur) have got nothing on diesel algee. I've had a diesel algee problem and it's exactly that, it's a nightmare. Constantly changing filters as well as treatment cost.

Oats are looking like a pretty attractive prospect for earlier sowing in Esperance! @SEPWA_ag ‘s David Cook presented on the oat trials carried out in the region in 2025. This particular trial looked at oats vs barley vs wheat across two sowing dates in Beaumont.

I have placed a second and a third order but have made it clear that those are NOT urgent, but more of a forecast of what I require and a basic time frame. Fuel company has been very accommodating.

I think Australia’s fuel stockpile is currently in the full tanks of all the retirees that have been filling up all day in our local town of Strathalbyn @abcadelaide they won’t drive anywhere and won’t buy anymore fuel for a month!

Let a couple of local blokes loose with the divining wires… dug a bit of a hole and look out. Merky in the catchment, but pure coming out where its seeping. Not huge amounts, probably 25k of water a week, but every bit helps.

@ipaddockapps I got a pick-up from fertiliser works to the closest pub last year. I'm not sure my finger was off the screen when Uber showed up. When I returned, I saw one coming down the road, so that was instantaneous. The Down town metropolis of Esperance might be different from Kwinana.

Is it just me or are Ubers taking longer now? Used to be 3-4 minutes, the last few rides have been 8-15 minutes wait.

@HoolyMcg Heard mixed results this morning. Originally heard smaller grants successful. Mine was for $101k total, and I wasn't successful. I also heard of a few massive ones unsuccessful. $500k to $5 million. Heard one consultant has 3 out of 7 successful so far.

@MerinoSi @KalimarAg @agleaderAP We’ve already made substantial yield gains by adding solid rates of ZMC for the last 12 years. The primary purpose of this trial is to see if our more standard rates of P were limiting potential yield.
