New home, and dealing with water hammering. Raised the complaint almost 2 months back, but the ticket is closed by saying, "It's not a warranty item." #FrustratedMeritageBuyer I'm seeing many other issues, but this one is major. Meritage warranty is a joke. @MeritageHomes

Disappointed with @MeritageHomes! Poor construction led to a shower pan leak due to improper nail placement. Discovered only after warranty expired. Urgent fix needed for my pregnant wife’s safety, but they refuse to reimburse despite proof. Is this how you stand by your work?

@MeritageHomes My house is a new construction. I discovered mold while remodeling the master closet—something I would have never noticed otherwise. Completely devastated to find structural mold hidden behind the trim. This is a result of poor construction. Extremely disappointing. #MoldIssues

@MeritageHomes These guys are building in spring brook village. My daughter lives in one. Spring brook village is poorly managed so you may consider this when buying a home. The main fare is broken very often then they tow without a warning if you have not signed up in the app. The names are falling off the signs and the clubhouse is always locked
