I’ve thought long and hard about whether to make this public, as I’m usually not the type for this kind of thing. However, this involves the European finalist for the TWT, and I feel it needs to be addressed.
First, I want to clarify that my primary concern is the lack of clarity from Bandai Namco, who failed to provide clear tournament rules. It’s absurd that disqualified players were counted in a tournament. As a result, Danielmado was invited to Japan. The last tournament he entered was a 48+ Dojo, which he won, giving him 10 more points than Nino. In that tournament, 8 players were disqualified, and no players could be seen on stream.

At the same time, there was a tournament in Germany also held as a 48+ Dojo, with more than 64 registered players beforehand. However, the TO decided to remove absent players before the start, which lowered it to a 48+ Dojo. Nino won this tournament, but it didn’t earn him extra points. Had it been a 64+ Dojo, he would now be able to go to Japan. But for that, over 10 people would have needed to be disqualified.
In Germany, there was also a 48+ tournament that wasn’t counted because a losers’ match in the top 8 wasn’t scored. This could have also helped Nino.
I repeat, in Danielmado's last tournament, no players were visible—it could have been anyone playing, but not the players in question. What kind of logic is that?
Finally, I want to comment on Danielmado. During Tekken 7, I had tremendous respect for him. I cheered for and supported him when he represented Europe in international tournaments. When he beat German players, he earned it, and I saw him as the best European player for a time.
However, he lost that respect on the last day of the Dojo events. He messaged many members of the German community to check whether the tournament was "legal." He even reached out to good players, encouraging them to attend the event to stop Nino. He messaged so many people that it was almost ridiculous. Additionally, after the German tournament ended, a small group acted unsportsmanlike and posted inappropriate comments in the stream chat.
In terms of the TWT season standings, Nino was globally ranked better than Daniel. But I don’t necessarily want to judge who deserves it more. Still, some points are unacceptable, and there were minor issues on both sides. But when it came to something this significant, a wrong decision was definitely made!
I’m ready to take the backlash from many to make this situation public. Something like this can and must not happen in the community again.
