That's so true. It's just a red chocolate cake loaded with food coloring. How is that supposed to taste good? It usually has cream cheese frosting, which only tastes good on cinnamon rolls. The best part is when I tell someone I don't like red velvet cake, they always say, "Oh no, you just haven't tried mine." And I'm not going to. I put it in the same category as holiday fruitcake—equally disturbing.
