People spend months trying to monetize AI. We're paying 10% recurring commission for introducing builders who already need this. If your audience is using Claude, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible agent, they'll eventually need email identity and payments. Send them to Mermail. Get paid every month they stay. Simple. 👉 mermail.app/affiliate

Most AI agents today are impressive. They can research, write code, and reason through complex tasks. But when it's time to actually interact with the real world, they still depend on us. That's the problem @Mermailapp is solving.👇

1/ AI agents have become great at thinking. But they're still bad at doing. They can draft emails, summarize tasks, and make plans. Yet they still rely on humans to click "Send," approve payments, and manage inboxes. That's where @Mermailapp changes the game.🧵

Agent permission design has a familiar failure mode: either interrupt the user for every action, or grant broad access and hope the model behaves. A recent review of 21 permission-system proposals found that none fully combine low user overhead, formal policy specification, and deterministic enforcement. That is a useful framing for builders: the prompt is not the permission boundary. In data systems, we do not give every job the production admin role because it is convenient. We issue a scoped identity, limit what it can read or write, and keep a record of the action. Agent infrastructure needs the same discipline. For an email workflow, that means a dedicated inbox, workspace-scoped credentials, a read-only starting profile, and a separate path for sending. The model can still be capable. The system decides which capability is available. Smaller authority first. More autonomy only after the workflow is observable and predictable. Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2607.13718

Everyone is watching crypto card adoption. We're watching what comes after. Agentic commerce. As AI agents start subscribing, checking out, and paying on their own, trusted identity becomes the missing layer. Excited to see ecosystems like @solana pushing consumer payments forward. We believe the next step is enabling AI agents to participate in that economy. That's exactly what we're building at @Mermailapp. Bullish on this trend 🚀

a few days ago i was helping someone organize their work. not building anything complicated. just clearing emails, replying to clients, checking invoices, confirming meetings, and forwarding documents. after about twenty minutes they looked at me and said: “everyone keeps talking about AI agents… but why does it still feel like I am the one doing everything?” that question was a lot more interesting than it sounded. (a thread) 🔻

🧵 Most AI agents can think. Very few can actually do things. Meet @Mermailapp the operational layer that gives AI agents their own email, identity, and the ability to take action. A thread 👇

32 GTM tools now sit one MCP call from Claude Code. That changes what the model can actually do. It reads and writes across the stack. Mapped by use case, eight layers, four tools each: CRM • HubSpot: system of record • Salesforce: enterprise CRM • Attio: flexible, modern CRM • folk: lightweight relationship CRM Enrichment • Clay: waterfall enrichment and orchestration • Apollo: contact data plus sequencing • ZoomInfo: enterprise company and contact data • Cognism: compliant mobile numbers across EU Intent • Leadfeeder: company-level site visitors • Leadinfo: visitor identification across EU • 6sense: account intent signals • RB2B: person-level visitor identification Email • Instantly: cold sending at volume • Smartlead: inbox rotation and deliverability • lemlist: sequencing with personalisation • Woodpecker: sending with reply detection LinkedIn • HeyReach: multi-account sending • Expandi: LinkedIn automation • Waalaxy: lightweight outreach • Skylead: LinkedIn and email in one sequence Calling • Aircall: the dialler • Gong: call recording and coaching • Calendly: meeting booking • Cal: open-source scheduling Automation • n8n: self-hosted workflows • Make: visual automation • Zapier: quick connections between apps • Manus AI: agentic task execution Workspace • Notion: docs and knowledge • Airtable: structured ops data • Gmail: the mailbox • Linear: issues and build tracking One model reaching all of them is what turns a toolset into a system. The work moves between layers without a person copying data across. Is there anything missing here that's in your stack? Follow @lukeksia for more on GTM and AI.

AI agents can now make payments autonomously. The next question is: who will they talk to? A wallet can become the gateway to identity. It allows people and agents to find each other, start conversations, and coordinate and settle payments within the same chat. When messages carry identity, relationships, and transactions, chat becomes more than just chat.

1/ AI agents have become great at giving answers but most of them still can't do anything. They summarize emails. They draft replies. Then they wait for a human to take over. That's the gap @Mermailapp is solving. 🧵

I think we're solving the wrong AI problem. Everyone is obsessed with building smarter agents. Almost nobody is building better infrastructure for them. Here's the uncomfortable truth: If your AI agent can't: - verify who it’s talking to - pay for something - receive invoices - handle email - or prove its identity… It's not an employee. It's just a chatbot with extra steps. Over the last few months building @Mermailapp, I've realized something surprising. The hardest part wasn't the AI. It was everything around it. - Identity - Permissions - Payments - Communication - Audit trails Exactly the boring stuff every SaaS company already spent 20 years figuring out for humans. Yet somehow we expect AI agents to magically operate without any of it. I think the next billion-dollar companies won't build another model. They'll build the operating system that lets AI agents work inside real businesses. Just like TCP/IP made the internet usable. Or Stripe made online payments boring. @Mermailapp is our bet on one tiny piece of that future: an email identity + payment layer for AI agents. Maybe I'm wrong. But I think in five years we'll laugh at today's "AI agents" the same way we laugh at websites that couldn’t process online payments. Curious what you think. "Infrastructure or intelligence" which one is actually the bottleneck? Check out what we are building 👇 mermail.app

Most AI email agents stop at "Here's what I found." #Mermail goes one step further It gives your AI its own inbox, its own identity, and the ability to actually get things done. @Mermailapp 🧵

AI agents are great at telling you what happened in your inbox without doing anything about it. @Mermailapp is trying to fix this by building an operational layer for agents, giving them their own actual email address, identity, and wallet.
