@BristolCity @fever_uk The club are going to have to offer a “gesture” when it comes to season tickets next season , such as a reduction on price. The football will not be enough to entice people to renew. I am expecting a 20% drop off which will be a catastrophe on finances

Dear @virginmedia Why is it okay for you to offer a low price for TV/Broadband to a new customer but offer a significantly higher price to an existing customer for exactly same package? I have logged a complaint with your executive team and resolutions team but no reply yet

@robbietaylor_86 @gunner_be_good This has popped up on my timeline for some reason. I’m a Bristol City fan so no affiliation to the either team or the prem. I watched the game on TV. He is gonna be some player and has quality but I totally agree , Pickford at fault for the first goal and 0-0 was about right

@gunner_be_good I’m not salty mate, but also come from it with a different perspective. I’m not thinking about the title race, I’m thinking Pickford should catch the cross and we take a 0-0. Which is exactly what should’ve happened.

Max Dowman was crap by the way. Mykolenko pocketed him at every opportunity. Then Pickford missed a cross, and he scored a goal with no keeper and he’s now the new coming of Messi. Honestly.

@BristolCity @fever_uk Showed a lot of resilience today and it’s clear (to me anyway) that the players are still behind GS. Cobble a side together and get a draw against a top side is an excellent effort. Randell superb and nailed on player of the season

Full-time at the Riverside as Randell's 96th-minute equaliser earns us a point. 🤝 | @fever_uk

@devils50 Top player , just can’t stay fit. Equally Williams was really good when he came on today , another player who cannot stay fit. It’s costing us dear. Now Knight has had a stop/start season with injuries too

Superb from City today. Great response to the hiding we took last week. Horvat looks quality and we are such a better side with Atkinson in it. Rest him for the Cup and try and keep him fit for the rest of the league season

Remembering Pete Postlethwaite. Born #OnThisDay 1946. Although easily one of the best actors of his generation for us #Minder fans he’ll always be Jacko ‘Oily’ Wragg. Great episode but sadly the last one to feature @Thegeorgelayton

Life without Vyner off to a horrific start. I cannot remember a home game where the whole team were horribly out of sorts. The passing was abysmal , no energy outclassed by a team who started below us. It can’t help when you see so many team mates leaving for better deals

For our new podcast we’ve been visiting some of the locations of the #Minder credits. This is Newman Passage W1 Unfortunately the lamp post has long since gone. So we had to use @ConfessionsPete instead!

First shown #Onthisday 1982. #Minder Series 3 episode 2. You Need Hands. This one has everything. The standout is Mike Reid’s Vernon, the gourmet hard man,but we also have Julian Holloway, Heroin, dodgy geezers, dodgy motors, Terry and Des on JCB’s and Arthur drinking Tizer. Fab

@PFCF44 Your lot were beyond poor. Yea , are a better team but you gave the ball away in dangerous positions countless times and were far too passive. Play like that too often and you will go down

Shows the gulf in class, every time Bristol city go forward there’s constant movement. We’re the complete opposite, standing still

Superb from the “transition monsters” today against a very good Boro side. There is a lot to like about our team spirit and work ethic which will take us a long way. Special mention goes to Dickie today who was immense

@devils50 He will leave (reckon Vyner will stay) for better options and he is desperate to get in the Albania squad and he may feel he can’t do that at city

@MertBrown Until his decision making improves along with his defensive awareness he will remain championship level. Probably why Albania have not called him up. Great skill for the third goal mind.

@devils50 Exactly this. Someone has pulled me up on calling him average. He is our most important attacking player in my view. Even when shit and/or making poor decisions he is still the most likely to score or assist. I always feel he can do more though and that’s where the frustration is

@MMilko83 @BristolCity @thatchers_cider I called Anis average because he lost the ball a lot today, allowing Swansea to break on us, and wasted a few decent chances of his own. Three assists is great but, as he will tell you, he can do better.

The proverbial bad day at the office for city today. Unrecognisable from recent games, particularly defensively. Vitek, Atkinson, Borges, Vyner, Dickie all woeful. The rest not much better. Need to restrict that to a one off and bounce straight back on Tuesday. Tough week ahead
