@AeroTechVH What if they just increase the ice output power again, such that the cars still remain grip limited in corners even with clipping, and the battery shenanigans in the race still exist, cars will be faster asw, is there a reason why they wont go above the 750kW total output power?

Perhaps next year or in '28 all cars will have engines capable of working at substantially higher power, which means less harvesting in Q and a return to semi-decent push laps
However, as things stand, with 350kW of deployment cars today can't be pushed. Deployment must go down

charles about the issue with quali in the new regulations: 🆑: with these cars in qualifying, it’s something I still need to understand, because consistency pays more than… "more than being perfect?" 🆑: it’s not about being perfect. it’s better to stay under the limit but do the same thing every time, than to get to q3 and try something extra. that disappoints me a bit, because that was definitely one of my strengths in the past, but i’ll adapt. it’s not a disaster, but surely I don’t enjoy qualifying very much right now. If there are things we can change going forward that can help in that qualifying phase…
