🚨 ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST JOEY CARBSTRONG ARRESTED IN 4AM RAID AFTER EXPOSING KOSHER CRUELTY Animal rights activist Joey Carbstrong has reportedly been arrested following an early morning police raid after a week of escalating protests outside the Greater Manchester slaughterhouse at the centre of his latest undercover exposé. Campaigners claim officers arrived at the activist’s home around 4am on Friday morning before arresting Carbstrong and seizing electronic devices. The arrest comes shortly after the release of graphic undercover footage filmed inside Hartshead Meats in Moseley, Greater Manchester, a slaughterhouse accused of carrying out secret non-stun kosher slaughter alongside what activists describe as repeated and serious animal welfare breaches. The footage, which has spread rapidly online, triggered peaceful protests outside the facility throughout the week, with demonstrators gathering daily demanding the site be shut down and investigated. On Thursday, another protester was arrested outside the slaughterhouse during a demonstration. Carbstrong’s investigation alleged that cattle inside the facility were subjected to repeated electric prodding, visible distress in race lines and prolonged suffering after their throats were cut. In the days following the release of the footage a river of blood could be seen running down the road outside the facility after an underground pipe appeared to burst. At the time of writing, police have not publicly confirmed the exact nature of the allegations relating to Carbstrong’s arrest. Hartshead Meats have not publicly responded to the allegations made. The arrest is likely to intensify scrutiny around both the protests and the slaughterhouse itself, with supporters arguing attention is now being directed at the man who exposed the footage rather than the welfare concerns raised inside the facility.

UK GOVERNMENT GAVE 30,000 PEOPLE HIV AND HEPATITIS. This is not a conspiracy theory. It is the official conclusion of a seven-year public inquiry. From the 1970s to the early 1990s, the NHS gave tens of thousands of patients blood products contaminated with HIV and hepatitis C. Around 3,000 people are dead. Many thousands more are still living with the consequences. Children at Treloar College in Hampshire were used as test subjects in medical trials without their knowledge or their parents' consent. Whitehall officials destroyed documents. Patients were tested without consent and not told the results. Warnings were ignored for years because it was cheaper and less embarrassing to ignore them. The cover-up was not accidental. The inquiry found the government buried the scandal to save face and to save money. Dr Peter Jones, director of the Newcastle Haemophilia Centre, tested 99 of his patients in 1985 and found 76 had tested positive for HIV after receiving commercial factor VIII. The scale of the disaster was already known internally long before the public ever heard a word. Sir Brian Langstaff, the inquiry chair, concluded that this was not an accident. He described it as a cover-up that was subtle, pervasive, and chilling. He called it the worst treatment disaster in the history of the NHS. The government's response? An apology. A promise of around £10 billion in compensation. And a formal acknowledgment, fifty years late, that it knowingly let this happen. The people who raised concerns inside the NHS and government were ignored for decades. The documents disappeared. And the patients kept dying.
