REPORT: I just spoke with an MLB source who told me the Mets' asking price for Luke Weaver is currently "astronomical." If that price doesn't come down, he believes the Mets are likely to keep him. I've been saying this for over a week: I'll be extremely disappointed if Luke Weaver is still on this roster after the trade deadline. His value may never be higher. He's arguably the Mets' most valuable trade asset and has the potential to bring back a significant haul.
