Kier Starmer would have been ousted long, long ago if any of the below was not true: - Other Labour MPs are completely uninspiring and devoid of talent. - No one has an alternate policy plan. - No one 'ambitious' wants to be in charge and associated with budgetary tightening. - There is no such thing as a safe seat for a by-election. - No party wants a full general election. Given this, Kier is completely right to ignore the emotional stropping of his party and plow on.
