#Augmented #Reality #AR Anyone want to know what I’ve been coding away for the last 3 months (estimated 1000 or so hours of coding)! This is only a fraction of the App, it’s just crazy what this App can do, and I’m still building it. Have you thought that anyone can just share there 3d objects on this App no matter where they are in this world as long as they get good enough internet connection and have a good enough device such as an iPhone. What you see now is nothing compared to what the App can do. #RT8 on #Earth2 is expected between 11 to 23 hours from now. This release allows for tile holders that have 15k tiles or more and apparently, this could double the amount of users entering. I could be wrong, but this is what I heard.

Well done Shane and the #Earth2 team. I’m just waking up to this now, half asleep, and looking forward to reading this article today to get my head around it. I’ve spent the last couple of months clearing tiles, mostly paths, but areas I suspect putting garden beds, factories on and so on. One question I have: Tiles on hills, will it be important to clear any of them and are we able to place stuff on them also as some 750 plots are nothing but hills, so I’ve avoided clearing them for now. @theshaneisaac @Metaverse @Gaming @Building

#RealityThread8 is incoming on #Earth2! Another major #E2V1 Pre-Alpha release packed with new systems, mechanics plus lots of hidden details packed into the article🌍✌️ 👉earth2.io/news/reality-t… The past 4 months inside #Earth2 have been the most productive period we have ever had in terms of actual product outcome & systems making their way live into #E2V1. System after system, feature after feature, foundations turning into actual playable functionality & you are helping us keep up the momentum so thank you for your support🙏 I understand some would prefer more frequent official articles or smaller update posts along the way, but the results really do speak for themselves. If you look at everything included in RT8, we could have easily split this mammoth article into published posts every couple of days or weekly articles over the past 2 months. However, constantly preparing media, technical reports from devs, posts & announcements takes valuable time away from development, testing & implementation, so our current focus is delivering these larger Reality Threads packed with meaningful, tangible progress every 2-3 months or less. No hype. No announcements for announcements. Just real systems, real gameplay and real progress. The pace of tangible development progress inside #E2V1 right now is the strongest it has ever been. While there are a number of foundational features inside #RealityThread8, one thing to pay close attention to is the introduction of global multiplayer ball physics. On the surface you might see a beach ball.. but underneath it is a very important foundational system for #Earth2 long term. This is not about a beach ball specifically, it is about synchronised global multiplayer physics operating inside a persistent 510,072,000km² world. Many games spend years refining ball physics alone inside very small contained environments & still can't get it right, so the fact our team is already achieving acceptable multiplayer physics interactions inside something the size of #E2V1 at such an early stage is honestly a very exciting milestone for us internally. During internal testing we had team members running #E2V1 from Europe, Asia, Australia & South America in a single session, with between roughly 150-300 ping & the experience was still surprisingly playable (considering the sheer scale of #E2V1 & complexity involved). Keep in mind, lower ping will always provide the best experience when interacting with the beach ball, but this system opens the door to an enormous amount of future possibilities. Just because we're using a beach ball now does not mean it's always going to be a beach ball - the same foundation can be applied any type of ball or spherical object, with adjusted physics, or any size, which could be used for any number of experiences, mini-games, activities & more. A lot of #E2V1 development is about this type of thing right now. Establishing long term foundational systems that will become part of the platform long term & continue stacking them on top of one another release after release & I am trying to build & release it a way that gives our #Players / testers something extra to do as these pivotal systems come online. The people who stay patient during the quiet building phases are usually the ones who understand the vision the most. 🌍 #Earth2 was never meant to be a quick trend or a copy-paste project chasing short-term hype. They’re attempting to build interconnected systems, infrastructure, gameplay layers, economy mechanics, and realtime technology that most people massively underestimate in complexity. A lot of development happens behind the scenes where there’s very little “exciting” content to show publicly every week. That doesn’t mean progress has stopped — it usually means foundational work is happening. Anyone who has worked on large technical projects understands this. #E2V1 already gave many of us something tangible to engage with again, prepare for, and build around. And with #RT8 approaching, it feels like the project is continuing to move toward larger-scale systems that could shape the future direction of Earth2 in a big way. Constructive criticism is healthy. Better communication is always welcome. But there’s a huge difference between reasonable skepticism and pretending nothing is being built at all. I completely understand why some people want more communication, and honestly, I don’t think that’s an unreasonable request at all. But I also think #Earth2 has chosen a different approach over the years — focusing more on building and releasing rather than constantly overpromising between updates. Every major release usually comes with detailed articles, explanations, systems, and visible progress that clearly show where development time has gone. E2V1 is a good example of that, and RT8 sounds like another major step that likely requires a huge amount of backend work before it’s ready for public release. Would more communication between releases help? Probably yes. But personally, I’d rather see quieter development followed by meaningful delivery than endless hype cycles that damage trust when deadlines slip or expectations aren’t met. For me, long-term progress still matters most.

I made a mistake once of getting to many Runes to realised I end up with about 10 times too many and a waste of my time thinking there would work similar to the Mentar Rune, so I’m going to go a little more cautious this time. Just readying my #Avatar guy to distribute these new Runes subject to what else is required to help these Runes become a drinking bottle, a backpack upgrade and the Gaia Pulse Reactor Rune, a key ingredient for the player who just needs something to grow fast. Well getting the bag upgrade, you have to wait between 7pm and 7am to get this with the torch, the bottle can be obtained in deep enough water when diving, the Gaia is easier to get using a shovel, however, I suspect this being harder to make and could it be done using the those insect mounds that have no use yet, we’ll have to wait and see in RT8 as I suspect these not being as easy to make. #Earth2 #Metaverse at earth2.io #RT8

#Earth2 에서 붓과 물감은 E2 team 이 만들어줄 수 있다. 하지만 그 붓과 물감으로 어떤 그림을 그릴지는 결국 유저들의 몫이다. 문제는 그림을 그리는 과정에는 반드시 비용이 들어간다는 점이다. 시간이든, 돈이든, 노력과 시행착오든 말이다. 그래서 많은 유저들은 고민하게 된다. “이게 정말 수익이 되는가?” “돈이 된다는 확신이 있어야 움직일 수 있는 것 아닌가?” 하지만 여기에는 하나의 모순이 존재한다. 아직 아무도 그림을 그리고 있지 않은 단계에서는, 그 누구도 수익 사례를 보여줄 수 없다. 즉, 모두가 결과를 확인한 뒤에 움직이려고 하면 결국 아무 일도 시작되지 않는다. 그렇다면 무엇을 보고 판단해야 할까? 아마 대부분은 다른 유저들이 먼저 그림을 그리는 모습을 지켜보려 할 것이다. 그리고 그것이 실제로 돈이 된다는 것이 증명되면 그때서야 따라 움직이려고 할지도 모른다. 물론 그렇게 하면 손해를 덜 볼 수는 있다. 하지만 큰 기회를 잡기는 어려워진다. 왜냐하면 붓과 물감이 주어졌을 때 곧바로 그림을 그리기 시작한 사람들이 이미 사람들의 관심과 유입, 그리고 시장의 중심을 선점해버리기 때문이다. 유튜버 빠니보틀 이나 곽튜브 도 마찬가지다. 그들이 처음 여행을 시작했을 때, “여행이 이렇게 큰 돈이 될 것이다”라고 확신하고 있었을까? 아마 아닐 가능성이 크다. 하지만 그들은 남들이 확신을 기다릴 때 먼저 움직였다. 그리고 그 과정 속에서 사람들의 관심과 경험, 노하우, 브랜드를 축적했다. 지금 와서 “여행 유튜브가 돈이 된다”는 사실만 보고 시작한다면, 아무리 열심히 해도 이미 시장을 선점한 사람들을 따라잡기 쉽지 않다. 어스2도 비슷하다고 생각한다. 기회가 왔을 때 “이게 당장 돈이 되느냐?”만 계산하며 움직이면, 정작 가장 맛있는 열매는 이미 먼저 움직인 사람들이 가져간 뒤일 가능성이 높다. 물론 무작정 뛰어들라는 이야기는 아니다. 중요한 것은 ‘확신이 완성된 뒤에 움직이는 사람’이 될 것인가, 아니면 불확실성 속에서도 먼저 길을 만들며 경험치를 쌓는 사람이 될 것인가이다. 결국 새로운 시장에서 가장 큰 보상을 가져가는 사람들은 완벽한 정답을 본 뒤에 움직인 사람들이 아니라, 아무도 정답을 모를 때 직접 그림을 그리기 시작한 사람들이었다. @earth2io
