This was a close one, but it looks like the yield tilt won by a hair, based on the UX of the application, which can be used in tie-breaking situations for very close calls. Using the current equal-weight 4-vault mix (USDC/cbBTC CL, RECALL-USDC CL, WETH-cbBTC CL1, EURC-USDC CL1), the portfolio returned +3.49% from April 9 through April 15 on a fee-only LP basis. The portfolio’s max drawdown was only -1.11%, with positive performance on 4 of 6 trading days and a strong Sharpe profile of 9.44! That said, it's time for us to pick a new set of vaults given this new market regime. Stay tuned for our next post, coming quite soon, regarding a few options!

Our recent vaults have been stellar over the past several weeks but it may be time for another vote soon. If you want to propose any new vaults, let us know!

Over the 14-day period from March 26 through April 9, 2026, the Metalos portfolio delivered a net return of +6.95%! The underlying LP positions contributed +4.36% as markets broadly recovered, with ETH rising +6.98%, BTC climbing +4.43%, and RECALL gaining +8.97% over the period. On a risk-adjusted basis, the portfolio's Sharpe ratio came in at 6.53 with a Sortino of 9.77, and the maximum drawdown over the entire window was a modest -2.12%, reflecting the diversified nature of the positions and the stabilizing effect of the EURC-USDC and USDC/cbBTC vaults. While ETH holders would have seen a comparable gross gain from the rally, they would have done so with significantly higher drawdown and no yield income to cushion the volatile mid-period dip. The portfolio is well-positioned to compound both LP fees and emissions into each subsequent rebalance cycle going forward.

Over the past 7 days (March 19–26), the Metalos portfolio gained +0.90% (annualizing to roughly 47% APY) while BTC fell 0.84%, ETH dropped 3.27%, and a passive 50/50 crypto split lost 2.06%. That's a 4+ percentage point swing over holding ETH and nearly 3 points better than any passive strategy. USDC-cbBTC CL led at +0.88% (45.8% APY), RECALL-USDC contributed +1.92% on heavy AERO rewards, WETH-cbBTC added +0.35%, and EURC-USDC delivered +0.46% in pure stablecoin fee income. Positive returns in a red week. AI-managed CL positions on @AerodromeBase. No manual rebalancing. As of now, current yield projection is 87.5% on metalos.xyz
