@teachonstage There is something to be said for a class so engaged in an activity that you forget to document it completely!

Used @MetaphorDice to write our own poems in class today. Took zero pictures, but loved seeing students discover and develop their poetic voice. 10/10 would recommend writing poems with teenagers #lovemyjob #feedthepositivedog

how do we feel about poem model: make a list of words randomly, then write a poem where each line has one of the words, in order. like a mad lib except you have to write the story around the vocab words instead of fill in the blank
