Condensing source material is tough! No rule against it, but alot of fun stuff I loved didn’t make the cut. Does plenty on its own to deserve praise separate from the original but MAN huge missed opportunity in terms of budget / episode count / arcs adapted could have been 100%

Circling back actors did an incredible job, fight choreography really fun, set design, locations, hair / costume, all the hard stuff they crushed and should be proud. Also from a macro perspective everything I feared it would be story wise lmao oh well

Man lmao I might be too big of a fan of the original to give this a proper shot, because some of it looks really well done and choreographed, but I will say it doesn’t really hit the certain tone or overall vibe I think makes the manga / anime great at all. Hoping to be wrong!
