Honestly I read the article and I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Economists get too easily triggered by things written for general audiences. Any suggestion of fair growth without a heterogeneous agent RE model is read as de-growth-ist commie slop. We gotta touch grass.

@TheFIREorg The story here isn’t that shocking. Asking “why don’t climate scientists vote Republican” is kinda like asking “why don’t jews like bacon cheeseburgers”, but coming up with an econometrically robust way of telling the story could make for an interesting project.
