@b_cuse_ Hi! Thanks for noticing the exciting improvements being considered for the Market-to-Midtown Bikeway. We’re in the early stages of looking at a variety of design options to provide an enhanced, permanently-constructed bikeway on the Harney / Farnam St corridor.

Omaha’s first protected bikeway, Market-to-Midtown, is opening soon! Join us for a ribbon cutting this Wednesday, July 28 at 11am at Dewey Park. (The Southwest corner of Harney & Turner Blvd., along the Market-to-Midtown Bikeway.)

You might have noticed all the progress on the Market-to-Midtown bikeway on Harney Street! Dividers are in place, and green paint is going down to designate the protected bikeway. We can't wait to get out and ride (or scoot!) very soon.

The protected Market-to-Midtown bikeway will run on Harney Street from 10th street to just west of Turner Boulevard. Bikes and scooters will be able to use the protected lane traveling both east and west.
