@billboard Usher invited Jungkook! And the reason it didn’t work is because he enlisted early to benefit bts. If you can’t get anything right @billboard then at least get the name right. There all have names and shouldn’t be classified as one of them. Maybe back to journalism 101.

A list of idols enlisted in the military. The youngest, only one who enlisted at 26. Not after a decline, not when it was "more convenient", but right in the middle of a global peak. That is #JUNGKOOK . And this isn’t just "he enlisted like everyone else". This is the decision of someone who, at that moment, could have had everything and instead chose to pause not just his career, but his own rise. The years 2023–2024 were supposed to be the beginning of his era. Not the start of something, but the moment he would fully establish himself as a GLOBAL POP ICON. After Dreamers, Seven, Standing Next to You and the Golden, he had already moved far beyond being just an idol or a member of BTS, he became a GLOBAL ARTIST, topping charts, going viral everywhere and reaching audiences all over the world. And right at that moment… everything paused. Not because he had to stop, but because he chose the group over himself. And let’s be honest, the cost of that decision is huge. We’re not talking about vague "opportunities". We’re talking about real, once-in-a-lifetime stages that simply won’t happen in the same way again. A possible Super Bowl halftime stage, one of the biggest goals for any global artist. Major wins and performances at the MTV VMA, MTV EMA stage and other huge international ceremonies, where he had already won as a solo artist but wasn’t there to actually stand on stage and receive those awards. He won. He was recognized. But he wasn’t there in those moments. And that’s something people rarely talk about. Some say, "he’ll have time later". Yes, he will. But it won’t be THIS time. It won’t be the same moment in the industry, the same momentum, the same FIRST global explosion that only happens once. He didn’t just pause his career, he put his own rise on hold. And he did it so the story of BTS could continue as one, so their return would be together, not separated and everything they built would stay intact. And right now, it’s important not to let that be downplayed or dismissed, not by the industry, not by fandom arguments, not by anyone. It’s too easy to reduce it to "it was just his choice", but that "just" ignores the real weight of what he gave up. I truly believe everything he stepped away from will come back to him even bigger. That his solo career will grow stronger, louder and more impactful. That he will get the stages he missed and more. And that his name will be spoken the way it deserves to be: not in waiting, but in a moment that fully belongs to him. And this is especially important to understand in the context of who he has always seen himself as an artist. Jungkook has said many times that the stage is his life, that he wants to become a global pop star, grow as a solo artist and one day hold his own tour where he can fully express and showcase himself. And personally, I just want to say this: my love and support for him don’t change, no matter the pause, the circumstances, or time. And right now more than ever, I hope those who truly support him stay united, strong and respectful for his sake. Because he made a choice that deserves not just recognition, but real, mature understanding. Don’t waste energy on things that don’t matter. Don’t focus on people who don’t deserve your attention. There are antis and haters everywhere, but that’s not a reason to lower yourself to their level, it’s a reason to stay above it. Be loud in your support. Be honest in your thoughts. Stay clear, confident and respectful. And most importantly, stand with Jungkook as fans, fandom and his support system. We need to stay united. Support each other. Not turn against one another. Because at the end of the day, we’re all here for one reason - HIM. Our ways of supporting may differ, but the direction is the same. Don’t let Jungkook be diminished as an artist or as a person. Strength is dignity, respect and unity. Be the fans he deserves, and the fans worthy of an artist of this level. #HereForJungkook WE LOVE YOU JUNGKOOK ♥️

@MuckyNicha57691 @Surika9787 @katrinailike @BuzzingPop I wouldn’t bet on that. He loves his fans and he knows his fans love him unconditionally. In his lives he has said he doesn’t care about you haters. He knows about jungkookies. Army are jealous of his success yet can’t let him go because without him bts is zero.

@MuckyNicha57691 @katrinailike @BuzzingPop If army treated him properly maybe then we would enjoy him more as a member. With the amount of talent he has if it were any other member they would have left already. Be thankful jk is jk and he is still with the group.

This was Jungkook after his tsx performance. You gotta be a real hater to ever think it was his decision to not perform at SB. People who genuinely love him didn't need yesterdays interview to know his real feelings about that betrayal💔

@MuckyNicha57691 @katrinailike @BuzzingPop Enlisting early, shortest solo time, no solo songs prior to chapter 2, no solo tour after golden’s success…they might not be directly and physically holding him back but they are also not allowing him to spread his wings.

@Metrocard1 @katrinailike @BuzzingPop Who have a problem with him fr? He’s the youngest and raised by the older members in BTS. He’s had a big achievements out there and BTS members are celebrating those too. He’s a talented and wonderful maknae. The way you trying to twist that the members held him back isn’t right

@katrinailike @MuckyNicha57691 @BuzzingPop Yes jungkook’s identify has been a member of bts and it still is. But you have admit he is the most successful, talented and known member. This is what upsets army and the reason they are mean to him . Just acknowledge his status and jk solos won’t have any problem.

@MuckyNicha57691 @Metrocard1 @BuzzingPop BTS's success preceded the members' individual achievements; after their military service, each member began pursuing solo projects. Jungkook is indeed an excellent performer, but without BTS, there would be no Jungkook.

@katrinailike @BuzzingPop Without the members jungkook has one of the most successful album for solo artist or an act. Seven is the most streamed song by an Asian artist. So without the members and his obligations he can rise even higher.

@Metrocard1 @BuzzingPop Without the members, there would be no Jungkook. How can you think that the members are dragging him down? Without these members, he would just be a different group of members. Because the idol management model in Korea is a group of people.

@Metrocard1 @BuzzingPop And are there no people who sacrifice for the team? For example, Taehyung and Seokjin both wanted to work in drama or whatever job they wanted to do, but the team always took priority.

@jksmoonlight7 @Da_jok_4 @BuzzingPop Typical ot6 behavior! When we support JK it’s weird and you will find any excuse to say it’s his choice. Let’s just say it is, then the least you can do is acknowledge it and appreciate it. I think I can confidently say most jk fans will be okay with just that.

@jksmoonlight7 @Da_jok_4 @BuzzingPop Okay anger much! I already acknowledge that jk loves his members thus he is sacrificing a lot for them. That has been established so move on from that plot. Also, don’t need you to say he is your bias! That is a fake story if I heard one. That won’t make you case stronger.

@Metrocard1 @BuzzingPop my brother in Christ the members have NO say in jungkook's enlistment. Some of them were literally in the fucking military or had just finished it that time. js say you're a solo stan instead of attacking the members.

@sweetpie_67 @AboutMusicYT Doesn’t mean he liked it either. Jungkook is a good human and a good band member so the least his bandmates and this fandom can do is appreciate his sacrifices and not get so jealous of his success to the point where you belittle it.
