@ArcaneCrystal If we refer to the use of boost mechanics, these came earlier in Sonic Rush. If we mean boost in combination with perspective shifts, then it was the start of that enduring trend. Unleashed is curiously the game from this era with no remake but also longest retail life

This is one of the greatest pieces of One Piece media to have ever existed. This movie quality short is the essence of everything I love about the series, with all the charm of pre timeskip One Piece. Some Movie 4 vibes. I can't wait to see what Ishitani and Mori do beyond OP!

Echoes of Wisdom is fantastic, a marrying of the new and old in a way I find palatable. If I have a critique, it is that getting crafting ingredients from a puzzle can feel like a limp reward and that water blocks are perhaps too universally useful.

I do really like needing to cobble together weird broken solutions to puzzles from my grab bag of echoes. It freshens up the traditional Zelda format while evoking unintended solutions to BOTW and TOTK shrines

@ArcaneCrystal If you feed echo rock roast to a goron, they comment on how the food did not actually resolve their hunger. So I posit that echoes do not contain nutrition and likely just despawn after being broken down enough to begin to be digested.
