Yesterday we held our second-ever Children’s Citizenship Ceremony. The ceremony is a legacy of the MiFriendly Cities project and is to recognise and celebrate the importance of British Citizenship to children and young people. 1/4.

The latest set of @WMPolice Officers?🤔🤣 @positiveyouthUK youngsters were recently joined by officers from @WMPolice who delivered a session on hate crime. An important day educating the youngsters on the dangers of hate crime and how to report one👏 Thank you @WMPolice!👮

Over the last several years the team have been working incredibly hard to help people from countries such as Syria resettle and integrate in Coventry. To date, through the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme - now known as the UKRS - we have resettled 804 people in the city👏

🧵 Meet Ukrainian refugee, Natalia Orza. Born in Bobrinets in 1973, Natalia moved to Odessa in 1989, full of youthful optimism as she embarked on her Engineering studies at the Odessa Polytechnic National University. 1/8.
