With the @ElastosInfo World Computer moving toward its new release this April 2026, what does it mean to be here now, on the edge of v1.2? It means the early promises are no longer just ideas. It means the core mission has, to a large extent, been fulfilled.

About 6 billion people on Earth own or use an electronic device. Not 1 billion. Not 2 billion. Six billion. That is roughly three out of every four humans alive today. So most humans on Earth are now connected to the digital world through a device.

Try it out for yourself: portal.ela.city See what it feels like to interact with a system where your data stays yours and every action happens within boundaries you control.

From the start, the @ElastosInfo World Computer was meant to be a global system for digital ownership, and everything built along the way stayed aligned with that idea. Now it’s no longer just a vision, it’s the architecture being delivered exactly as it was intended.

And that is where the real excitement sits. Not just in what has been delivered, but in what it unlocks. Because for the first time, it feels like the World Computer is not just being built anymore. It is becoming something people can step into.

If v1.0 and the iterations leading to it were about building the structure, then v1.2 starts to feel like the beginning of something else entirely. A phase where the focus shifts from creation to interaction. From proving it works, to discovering what can be built on top of it.

That’s the kind of problem ElastOS is solving. Not another app or website. A completely different way to build the internet itself, where you are no longer trapped by data centralization but actually in control. And the best part is you can be part of it. portal.ela.city

So this is not really a social media problem or a privacy problem. It is an infrastructure problem. The internet was built to connect computers. Now it needs to be rebuilt to give users control over identity, data, and access. That is the shift @ElastosInfo is leading.
