As skilful as it is intense - @humsentence goes full throttle.

'Her eyes would slide to meet mine, their look both sorry and disappointed, as if she were Effie’s coach. I just want so much for her, she’d whisper on the side lines.' - so pleased to have this story up in @press_roi 50th issue! Huge thanks to the eds roifaineantpress.com/post/la-garban…

@BenjaminDMuir @damiankelleher @Unwise_Trousers It IS mindblowing. It is also a tough slog that does not pander to the reader. And that is hilarious that the students also had the suspicion some reviewers didn't make it all the way through :)
(And as for goat etc, thanks as always.)
English

@MicWink @damiankelleher @Unwise_Trousers Bro it was an absolute pleasure; have re-read it twice now and followed my girlfriend and family members around quoting the goat.
Praiseworthy is mindblowing because it’s a massive middle finger to everyone who’s going to fawn over it without reading it, and that’s pure genius.
English

@BenjaminDMuir @damiankelleher @Unwise_Trousers I'll never not be grateful for every single person who read Grimmish. Have also read every word of Praiseworthy, and didn't end up knowing what I thought. But I've read one or two reviews of Praiseworthy where I suspect the reviewer skipped sections. Odd.
English

@damiankelleher @Unwise_Trousers Tbh I heard a lot of people say “oh I haven’t read it but I want to” about Grimmish but I mean, that’s better than none at all or bullshitting. The amount of people saying they’ve read Praiseworthy then being like a chapter in is absolutely massive this year.

"Publishing a story of this quality as a standalone book makes perfect aesthetic sense, though at £8.99 for 6,000 words, its publication may damage the government’s chances of halving inflation by the end of the year."

@humsentence I remember Katelin as being a little taller, and with smaller ears.

Had the best day walking in the rain and chatting writing with the wonderful Katelin Farnsworth, so thanks Twitter.
