Here are some 2DFX shots I did on the Avatar Aang film. It was privilege working with so many amazing artists as one of the 2DFX supervisors. It really wouldn't have looked this good without all their hard work and dedication so just wanted to put that out there lol

Kicking off my avatar showcase with this lil Katara water shot I got to do!

One of my first shot I did when arriving on Avatar: the last air bender. Was a challenging one, a 3D base was made but need to adjust and reanimate some parts as well as making additional fx on the rolling snow

@DillonGoo That's something I really like about art and animation. There are so many different ways to do different things to express yourself. It's really fun

btw I run a 3D anime studio and I'm a huge believer in 3D animation😜but some things 2D just does better and that's okay

@TheGlobal_Index @InternetH0F This video was specifically interpolated by a machine to add more frames so that it plays on 60(?) fps The intended viewing exp is on 24 fps. The scene was prob animated on 2s so it'd be playing at 12fps. Difficulty's not just drawing but on making everything flow harmoniously

@InternetH0F Assuming 60 FPS, that's a total of 240 frames in 4 seconds. 1 year & 3 months is 455 days. So on average, they completed roughly one frame every two days? Am I missing something?
