As many of you know, our cat Seven died on Monday. My wife just observed that Nugget has been beside her empty basket often since then. It’s either a vigil or he’s waiting for her return. Never doubt our animals’ connection and love for each other. #cats

So at one point I had six cats. As of last night now I have one. Last night, my bestest boy Jesse crossed the rainbow bridge. He was the sweetest guy. 😢😢

I’m saddened to share that my beloved cat, Summit, died unexpectedly this morning at the age of eleven. He and I were deeply bonded. He loved snuggling and head bunting and he gave those long slow eye blinks. His presence comforted me when my partner Michelle died in 2018, and again when my brother passed away several months ago. He will be forever missed.

🚨EMERGqENCY🚨 Barney is having trouble breathing ng. He is mouth breathing and won't close his mouth. His eyes also have heavy discharge. I gently wiped his eyes & he had some sort of seizure. He got stiff & remained like this for approximately min. Afterwards, he had difficulty walking & and holding his head straight up Im rushing him into emergency hospital. Please help with anything you can Every dollar counts right now, im still paying on Bunji the pup hit by a car. 🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

I don't post this to make you all sad too, just showing the real side of rescue. We haven't had any adoption applications in weeks. These kittens are being passed up and soon will be too big to comfortably share this enclosure.
