@danigeos @sasbrune In general, precipitation and erosion help to localise the deformation since these model have prescribed velocities. Indeed we could set some models where we open the boundaries and see how sedimentation affect the tectonics activity.

@MichaPons @sasbrune One interesting thing to do is test the effect of rising the base level in the left side of your reference model (force sedimentation. This is what happened to the Ebro Basin. There is a believe that this could have contributed to stop tectonic deformation in the Pyrenees.
