@dkwintersgolf @GolfBigCedar Such an awesome property. The service you receive just adds to it. It’s pricey but it’s worth it.

Big Cedar Golf - what a trip.
Man the last few days were just awesome. I was invited to play with a couple of guys that I coach on a golf trip.
I can’t tell y’all enough how awesome the experience is at Big Cedar. Awesome golf, par 3’s that are fun to play, massive putting greens to continue the trash talk, and the food is awesome.
Payne’s Valley was a massive favorite in the group. Can be challenging for everyone, or as playable for the less skilled golfer. Honestly, I like the layout, a lot.
Buffalo Ridge just a good golf course, challenging and greens that are just awesome. Layout is really good, and love the trees through the property. Tee markers are pretty damn awesome on the back tee.
Ozarks National decent course, just not my favorite of the bunch. Back 9 has more character but the course can have some serious teeth especially when the wind starts to blow. Greens also were incredible, and 18 into the wind at 500 yards for a par 4 is just a beast!
Mountain Top, Cliffhangers, and Top of the Rock just add to fun. Great ways to continue the bets, or ease into the trip. I really liked all of the layouts, fun for all golfers and some insanely awesome views.
Up until 2 months ago, I have only taken members for a day trip to a golf course. In and out quick but fun days. This time I got to be along for the ride, and it was awesome.
I couldn’t recommend the golf and time spent here enough. You can make the golf enjoyable for all skill levels, and have a hell of a time along the way.
Thankful I was able to spend time with some guys that are just students, but friends.
Ps. The bison dogs are 👌🏼. And the Snickers Ice Cream bar is a nice closer.
At the end of the day, a hell of a trip and if you haven’t made the Big Cedar golf destination trip, you won’t regret it.

@flushingitgolf These guys are incredible. 4.5 hour rounds the are complaining about. What else do they wanna be doing ? I work 50 hours a week in a suit and tie. Dude shoots 65 and is bitching. Hope he shoots 75 tomorrow.

Aronimink is delivering one of the toughest tests for a PGA Championship in years but there is still a score out there.
After shooting a 5 under par 65, Chris Gotterup spoke about whether the course is playing fair and how it affects pace of play:
“I'm going to try to answer this properly. I don't think it's unfair, but I do think for pace of play and certain aspects, there have been a couple -- you know, 14 today is probably aggressive, I will say. You're hitting a 4-iron to a 10-foot circle, and if it doesn't go there, it's off the green, and if you hit it 40 feet left, you have a very hard 2-putt.
“So, you know, Bob made birdie in my group and he hit a great shot. So is it unfair, probably not. But is it going to make the round slow, yeah. Yesterday I think hole 8 was probably pushing it a little bit. I hit 5-wood yesterday, and I hit 7-iron today. Granted, I don't know if they were expecting 30 mile an hour winds yesterday, but I also did shoot 5-under today.
“So like I don't think it's -- I don't think it's unfair by any stretch of the imagination, but you're not going to get any 4-1/2 hour rounds out here if that's what they, if that's what's going to happen. So, unfair, no, but, you know, tough to make birdies”
Chris also spoke about how he confident he is playing in the gusty conditions:
“You know, I mean, obviously all good things. I feel like, if I'm playing well, I can compete anywhere. That's no different here. But I think it's just hard to say what it did for me other than build confidence. I felt like I played some of my best golf maybe ever as a pro that week, and I came in third.
“So like it's just one of those things where you just got to keep -- I feel like you got to keep putting yourself in position, and you hope that one day it breaks through and it was your time. But as long as you can keep putting yourself there, I think that's all you can do.”
Chris Gotterup has been one of the hottest players in the world over the last 12 months and he has a great chance to claim his first major title this weekend.

@Cam_Jourdan It’s hard to hate on Scottie but this makes it easy. It’s golf man. Everyone played the same course. These guys whine when they play a tough course. Guess what. Your weekend warrior play tough courses every weekend. GFYS

Scottie Scheffler called Friday's pin locations at the PGA Championship "kind of absurd."
"This is the hardest set of pin locations that I've seen since I've been on Tour, and that includes U.S. Opens, that includes Oakmont. I did ask, I asked Fooch, who caddies for Justin Rose. He's been around a long time -- and I asked Teddy too -- have you seen anything like this before? They said maybe Shinnecock is the only place they have seen that has pins that could compare to this."

@fatbaldguyracin @CoachMickCronin @reaganswinbank Based on payouts prior to the oaks , running for 40k to the 5 there probably means you are either full of crap or lost a boatload of money.
