🇰🇷 The former First Lady of South Korea has been sentenced to 7 years in prison According to the court, Kim Keon-hee used her status as the president's wife for personal interests. In April, the former First Lady was already sentenced to 4 years in prison in another case related to stock price manipulation and corruption. Her husband, former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, was previously sentenced to life imprisonment. The current far-left, pro-China president of South Korea, Lee Jae Myung has launched a large-scale campaign against the former pro-U.S. and anti-comminst President Yoon Suk-yeol and his associates. Human rights organizations warn that civil rights are being eroded in South Korea and that the judiciary has become increasingly politicized.

China says a new law taking effect on July 1, 2026, allows it to target people and organizations outside the country accused of harming “ethnic unity” or supporting separatism. Chinese officials say the law is needed to protect national unity and security. China cannot directly enforce its laws in other countries, but people could face consequences if they travel to China or its territories.

One survivor told our inquiry this... "if I can save just even one more child, girl or boy, from going through any of this, then I’ve done my job." Incredible bravery, and she has certainly done that.

I don’t understand the whole “AC in Europe” debate. The controversy mostly exists to avoid a much simpler reality: you cannot roll out air conditioning across Europe at the scale and speed needed to solve immediate problems such as the current heatwave. Several factors are at play: • Europe did not used to experience this level of heat. Climate change has changed the picture, and relatively quickly. • Much of Europe’s building stock is old, often centuries old. These buildings were designed to moderate temperature with features such as thick walls and natural ventilation, not to accommodate modern air conditioning systems. • Those historic buildings are a huge asset. Their façades are part of what makes European cities attractive and economically valuable. You cannot simply cover them with external AC units without damaging that heritage. • Even with strong political will, who would pay for a continent-wide retrofit that preserves historic architecture? The cost would run into hundreds of billions of euros. • And even if the money were available, could manufacturers produce the equipment fast enough? Could installers be trained and hired quickly enough? Europe already faces labour shortages in many skilled trades. So where would the workforce come from? More immigration? That would simply create another round of the same xenophobic arguments that already dominate public debate. So that’s the short version: Europe will not have universal air conditioning anytime soon. Much of its building stock was not designed for it, and the necessary resources, money, industrial capacity, supply chains, and labour simply do not exist at the required scale. Air conditioning will spread, and in many places it already is. But it will happen gradually, starting with newer buildings where installation is easier and cheaper, and expanding as investment, production capacity, and skilled labour grow. There may even be an upside. As modern buildings become better adapted to hotter summers, some of the premium currently attached to beautiful old buildings may diminish, making them more affordable. In the meantime, people invent cultural controversies. Americans, in particular, seem unable to resist them. A European heatwave somehow becomes another opportunity for Europe-bashing, social media outrage, and people taking sides in a debate that ignores the practical constraints. It’s much easier to argue about why Europe doesn’t have air conditioning than to explain how you would install it across an entire continent.

A quarter of a million British girls were raped by Muslim men. It’s treason that politicians who saw it, who knew it, didn’t act! says Dutch politician @geertwilderspvv and add that we “should be angry” because anger can be “instrumental to a solution”.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy reports that Belarus is no longer allowing that its signal towers are used as repeaters for Russian drones in Ukraine's north. According to him it has come effect on June 22, only three days after Ukraine's 7-day ultimatum. Another piece of fading Russian power has been chipped away.

BREAKING: The U.S. Treasury has imposed new sanctions on players involved with supplying the Muslim Brotherhood-allied Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) with chemical weapons. The document shows that an Indian company exported the chlorine while a SAF military officer was responsible for importing the chemical. A company controlled by the SAF then weaponized it on site. The U.S. has today sanctioned a number of people and entities for the war crime, most notably: ✅ Tariq Hussain Madani - A SAF military officer part of Sudan's Military Industry Corp. ✅ Target Multiactivities Co - Part of SAF’s military-industrial complex MIC subsidiary ✅ Ports Engineering Co. - A state-owned, SAF-controlled company. The world was shocked when France24 journalists revealed in November 2024 that the Sudanese Armed Forces has used chlorine bombs dropped by plane on two occasions in September that year, and proved it by providing video evidence. U.S. officials later revealed that it wasn’t a one-off war crime by renegade forces but that it had been ordered by the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces General Al-Burhan himself. The ICC has so far stayed silent and the EU, usually very vocal about war crimes in Africa, has been no better. So far, it’s only the U.S. that has taken action against the war crimes with chemical weapons committed by the Islamist forces in Sudan.

Wow, you mean to tell me that Democrats hate America? I'm hearing this for the first time. Of course they hate America! No one needs a few World Cup wins to understand that. These people tell us how much they hate our country on a regular basis. Just two days ago, they nominated a woman for Congress who tweeted about how she uses the American flag as a napkin.

The leftist frame on AirCon is just factually wrong. AirCon doesn't create cold or heat, it moves it. Moving heat is much more efficient. About 9x more - and the temp difference is much wider in winter. If you really want to lower energy you ban winter heating not AirCon.
