All of the Democratic presidential candidates with the exception of Marianne Williamson in 2020 said they did NOT support cash reparations for the descendants of the freedmen. The Democrats had a supermajority when Obama was first elected until the midterms and Biden had a majority. Neither time did that blue party do the right thing. Now FBA people will withhold our votes from them. Look at the trend of how black voters have been voting less for Dems since Obama’s first term: Election Democratic Candidate Estimated Black Vote for Democrat Black Turnout Trend 2008 Barack Obama ~95% Historic surge 2012 Barack Obama ~93% Extremely high; near record levels 2016 Hillary Clinton ~88–89% Noticeable drop from Obama years 2020 Joe Biden ~87–92% Strong rebound 2024 Kamala Harris ~86–87% FBA will make them pay if no tangibles are brought to floor for a vote.

How? They bill is not sufficient enough but there is no way it should be in the same state it was when it was originally introduced. This is why FBA have vowed to boycott the Democratic Party until they at least bring to the floor a proposal for cash reparations for the descendants of the freedmen and a crime reform bill.
