she was investigating the unknown, and it's quite possible she followed him into the fog out of her own curiosity!

my tinfoil hat theory from the livestream is that they hinted at an unknown comeback chapter with JULIAN as a new survivor! out of ALL the killers, they chose the one with similar found footage vibes!!! and julian is in the current tome lore!!! it just MAKES SENSE OK!?

I think Lily is spot on here.
Lots of mentions of car rides in the tome lore for Julian, Sable and Mikaela. The perk names also COULD match.
He is LITERALLY lending a hand.

As I said yesterday, this Jason is an original interpretation but it is STILL 100% JASON.
It's actually really cool because he originates from GREENVILLE, which is where Mikaela. Sable, and The Unknown are from. 👀
He even beefed with / canonically met The Unknown, LMAO.

@Fiend2Society @weskeltner @Behaviour @DeadbyDaylight Maybe I’m just dumb but when I look at the games that Gun has had their name attatched to I just see games that fail apart or games where Gun became no longer interested in supporting. I do not see a positive track record to games that has Gun Media attached.

IllFonic has grown as a studio and now publishes their own titles, including Halloween. Gun is just providing them assistance and helping them get across the finish line.

Gun are providing financial support and co-publishing support to IllFonic, who are the developers AND publisher of the game.
Gun has zero say in terms of whether the game will be abandoned. It’s not their game to cancel.
