that and...A new study, “Sport Specialization and Coordination Differences in Multisport Adolescent Female Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball Athletes,” published in a special thematic issue of The Journal of Athletic Training focused on youth sport specialization suggests that female athletes in basketball, soccer and volleyball are less likely to suffer hip and knee injuries than their fellow athletes who specialize in just one sport.

Female athletes ages 14–18 are 4–6x more likely to tear an ACL than male athletes. The earlier they learn to move well and build confidence in the weight room, the more that risk drops.

On behalf of the largest police news outlet in the world, the Detroit police chief needs to resign in disgrace. This, after a Detroit sergeant- a 27-year veteran - was suspended without pay. What did he do that was so horrible? He called Border Patrol to help ID a driver with a fake electronic Michigan license during a traffic stop—per her lieutenant's direction. @Don_K_Williams Resilience is built at home first. If it’s missing there, it won’t magically appear later in a career. As a hiring manager and coach, I take every tough exit personally and always ask: Did I leave them better equipped for what’s next?

Words cannot express how proud I am of @IAgrusso, and how bittersweet it is to watch this beautiful chapter come to an end. It has been such a pleasure to watch her compete. Isa's mental and physical toughness have been unmatched. Her resilience is something I admire deeply and hope to learn from every day. I can close my eyes and replay so many moments, big wins, big goals, tough days, quiet car rides, and everything in between. I’ll carry each and every one of them with me. What a journey. What a privilege to witness it. And what an incredible foundation she’s built for whatever comes next.
