Israel is Not F*cking Around ⚠️ They have blocked Gaza off from: - Humanitarian aid - Almost all utilities Despite the devastating toll on innocent human life, they consider that to be the only way to defeat Hamas quickly because it also blocks off their supply chain. Meanwhile, Hamas is continuing to close escape routes for “their own” citizens as they know using them as shields is the main advantage they have against a stronger opponent. Israel is also completely ignoring threats from Iran, China, and more to stop their advance into Gaza “immediately”. Calls from the UN to reduce civilian casualties in Gaza were followed more closely at first but now appear to be largely falling on deaf ears as the war intensifies. Israel is angry. They lost family members, friends, and fellow citizens. The threat to them is still very much active and each day this goes on the chances of other military groups joining on Hamas’s side increase. They are done negotiating. They will stop at nothing now to kill every single member of Hamas as quickly and efficiently as possible. This October 10th (X/X), we're celebrating Real Women's Day. Ya know, the kind that can give birth and breastfeed and menstruate and lack a Y chromosome. The only kind of women. Women are not menstruators, bleeders, chestfeeders, cervix-havers, uterus-owners, egg-producers, or people with birthing capacity. Women are just women. Adult human females. I would be remiss if I didn't specifically say this day should be used to celebrate and honor the girls and women squarely in harms way because of the violence that has broken out in the Middle East and everything it has led to.
