So what were our thoughts on summer 2025? I think I’d give it a 7.5/10 Despite being one of warmest on record in many cases the warmest. I don’t see this summer really being remembered in years to come, it was not particularly sunny or was there much variability. Another poor summer for thunderstorms. For me the spring stands out more it was dry and sunny from get-go, it felt more anomalous and has greatly added to long summer feel.

A busy but good week Pitch now down to 26mm 8 days now until Blackburn.. Young work ex lad Alfie been a godsend this week.. No inputs this week and only 5mm of irrigation water on! Pitch as healthy as I’ve seen it

First of 19 squares for Redbridge council being renovated today for @RedbridgeCrkt @ECB_cricket @CampeyTurfCare @Benjaytaylor @Proffittglenn @charlieells 🌱 keying in the base ready for dressing tomorrow and a laser level.

Renovations gone well so far this year. Courts are at different stages, first ones renovated are down at 25mm with first cylinder cut this week. Some just ready for germination sheets to come off. Glad to see the end of a busy September.
