To all the non-MAGAs, who voted for Trump while saying "he's not really going to do what he said he was going to do": How you feeling today?

If having a fivehead and a widow's peak is one of Trump's main qualifications for a cabinet spot, I need to block his number right now before he starts calling me

@emptywheel Forgot about Zeldin. That's 2 seats in New York that could be empty for a while. Seeing trump post daily about how Hochul MUST call special elections NOW, while she sits back and sips her tea will be fun

@emptywheel Especially if he pulls more from state's with Dem governors. Kathy Hochul needs to wait as long as possible to call the special election to fill Stefanik's seat.

Zelenskyy calling Putin a “fucking terrorist” on live TV is the energy I’m bringing into 2025 and 2026.

@ashtonpittman Sounds like he's voting twice (once for him and once for his wife) which is just a little bit illegal.

@RussLatino @tatereeves That's literally what I said... "For the Dems, there was a massive jump when Trump was elected, then it followed the overall downward trend." Trump caused a massive distrust in the media that hit both sides, which is why it din't go down as much for the Reps during Biden's term

@RussLatino Aren't we? For the Dems, there was a massive jump when Trump was elected, then it followed the overall downward trend. When Biden was elected there was an uptick (@tatereeves' fav word during Covid), then a plunge Reps: Up when Trump was elected, then down. Biden elected: uptick

@MichaelCreel The exact opposite pattern over the last 8 years. Are you looking at the same chart?

@RussLatino There is an overall downward trend which is probably caused by the rise of social media. But I'll tell you what I see and then you can tell me why you used it. From 96-00, D trust went down while R went up 00-08>D up, R 👇 08-16 >D 👇, R up 16-20>R up, D 👇 20-24>D up, R 👇

@MichaelCreel Man, that’s pretty pie in the sky and also not remotely what Gallup’s chart shows.

@RussLatino And all that shows is that both parties trust the media when their party doesn't hold the presidency, and don't trust it if they do. (i.e., they don't want to hear anything bad about their side, but want to believe all the bad stuff about the other. That's not breaking news
