Sometimes, I fantasize about living in a simpler time. A time before iPhones and 24/7 news cycles. Tonight, I watched two little boys with flashlights, looking for bugs in the dark. That’s when it hit me: They are living the dream I thought was gone — all because we intentionally created it for them. And when I put my phone away and stop thinking about all the things that are going wrong or what *could* happen, I get to live there too for a little bit. Perception *is* reality. It’s so easy to forget this. I am as guilty as anyone when it comes to allowing my social media feed to shape my perception of the world — and even my reality. But man, my reality is so good. Simple. The kids hopping in the truck in the morning. Eating breakfast tacos in the tailgate. Playing basketball in the driveway. Praying and eating dinner as a family. Looking for bugs outside in the dark. Reading books and snuggling until the kids fall asleep. This was literally my day TODAY. How could I ever want to live in any other time?! It does not get more simple or meaningful than this. I am so grateful, Lord for all you have given me and for all the things You continue to reveal to me. If you want to live in a simpler time, I have good news: you get to create the time you live in. Get dreaming and make it so 🙏

I am so bullish on the real world. Group events. Cookouts. Sports. Parties. Animals. Music festivals. Phoneless dinners. Co-living centers. Healing centers. Retreat centers. Beautiful views. Group adventures. These things light me up. Tech, ai, and materialism continue to disguest me more every day. The pendulum has swung too far. A small group of soulless nerds will continue to obsess over ai, automation, effiency, and the intellect. But those of us connected to our hearts and spirits are becoming disgusted by it. We want real, and we want human. Expect a huge countersurge of irl businesses and events in the next few years.

Smart phones really just ruined everything. People don’t even know how to sit still and think anymore, let alone pick up a book and read. Everyone is constantly overstimulated, addicted to the passive consumption of random bits of content streamed into their eyeballs at light speed. Kids are raised this way from birth. It’s unhuman. Disastrous for the mind and soul.

I’ve been optimistic my whole life But the last two years seeing what pump fun did to crypto makes me want to see people suffer and things to burn We took the one facet that allowed us to distribute wealth from wealthy elites to poors and even the playing field, and instead let the Jews turn us on each other and devour one another. The vehicle meant to bring change to the world now another pyre of their corruption. Of course too many of you are too shortsighted and can’t tell your head from your ass. But there is no trickle down wealth economics in place while pumping and dumping temporarily viral bullshit. The wealth effect from crypto stemmed from billionaires coming here to play And this is not a game for them anymore

this is going to sound dramatic as hell but the world you knew is pretty much over. very recently i think we crossed a one way bridge as a species & most people on earth haven’t realized that fact yet. imho there are now non trivial odds the economy gets drastically disrupted in the next 24 - 36 months via a giant supply shock followed by a demand shock.
