This game is unforgiving. On any given night, anybody can lose.
I believed Justin was going to win, and tonight he was the better man. He beat the champion and became the champion.
That said, never celebrate another man’s loss. Ilia Topuria is an incredible champion, a tremendous talent, and one of the best fighters in the world.
Respect to both men for stepping in there and giving everything they had. Congratulations to Justin, and best of luck to Ilia on whatever comes next.
