If you had left Stop losses on positions in markets that are now closed (like the US), this is a good time to cancel and re-instate them after open as most retail brokers will overly spread you and close positions at open due to low liquidity.

If you want to beat inflation, switch measure from USD to crypto. Wow! We are in serious deflation. This is much better than lame attempts I’ve seen from officials trying to massage “inflation” numbers.

@mazen_barbir Thats the challenge with all investments, you need to make the first step and then make it a commitment and automatic / automated where possible (depending on bank transfer fees)

@MichaelKhadra Yes, as long as one has the ability to commit to the contributions regularly over time and not get complacent.

Education Savings plans are good & bad. Good because they force you to contribute monthly. Bad because they underperform the market. Bottom line - Any plan is better than no plan. Start the day they are born.

If they are not beating the market results or their fund fees are around 1.5%-2%, then in that case the fees exceed the bank transfer fees. My suggestion in that case would be to transfer quarterly & not monthly
