dear guys, date a female trader she already mass manages accounts every morning so managing one relationship is nothing she’s used to being patient. she literally waits hours for one setup. emotionally unshakable. she watches her accounts go -$8k and came back to finish +$16k the same day. your little argument about the dishes is not fazing her. cheating? she doesn’t even have time. she’s too busy staring at the 3 minute chart. and when she loses money she just says “it’s part of the process” and moves on. you will never win a fight with that level of emotional regulation.

Sunday thought: The hardest part of trading isn't the strategy. It's starting over after you blow up. Every time you have to fund a new account and stare at $0 profit, your brain tells you you're behind. That you failed. That you're starting from nothing. But you're not starting from nothing. You're starting with experience. Big difference :))

This year my goal is to not blow up funded accounts so quick. I want to learn how to maintain and grow an account. It's been pretty challenging giving myself only $120-$180 PDLL but this is the LONGEST I've ever had a @Topstep XFA on one account (33 days)!

Trading is hard. Really hard. First, you learn technicals. Then you try to figure out which trading style even suits you. Then you search for an edge. You backtest. You forward test. You go live. Then you realize none of that is enough. You have to learn to manage your emotions. You build discipline from scratch. You write rules and force yourself to follow them. You sit for hours in front of charts. You spend weekends reviewing trades, wondering where you went wrong. You doubt yourself. You keep going anyway. Years pass like this. And after all that. someone casually calls you a gambler because you trade F&O.

@Sholly_Pee1 True man. Lost my first XFA and had to reset over and over again until I shift my mind not just for trading but also as a person.

A successful trader is just a losing trader who tried one more time.
