New story: Kyrie Irving has been the voice of reason amid one of the most chaotic seasons in the #Mavs' 46-year history. Despite not being able to play this year because of injury, his presence has never been louder. dallasnews.com/sports/maveric…

My Birthday is this week. If you are the gift giving type, a share or donation to help me get an accessible van would be amazing! Any amount helps. I work very hard, and I pick up OT always. Life these days is just ridiculously expensive. Thank you! gofund.me/0de8a6eef

Max Kellerman says LeBron James was WAY BETTER than Steph Curry in 2016 despite Steph winning unanimous MVP: “LeBron was easily the best player in the world. Easily. Not close. In retrospect, LeBron was worth two Steph’s that year. He was so much better than everyone on the planet in 2016 when it mattered most.” (Via Game Over)

4 YEARS AGO TODAY Kyrie Irving scored 50 points on 19 shots! KD: "Everything he does is so pure...Younger players should watch this game & learn what it takes to score at that level. It was a master class."

In 2021 and 2024, Kyrie Irving averaged 25+ PPG on just 4.0 free throws per game One of the lowest FTA rates ever for a 25 PPG scorer Imagine if he foul baited and flopped like certain other players

The mean time for return to play for NBA players has increased recently around 367 days (study below). In general, a longer RTP timeline optimizes performance and decreases the risk of re-injury; particularly for an older athlete. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41130415/

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving will miss the season to allow himself additional time to fully heal from the torn ACL he suffered last March. Irving will make his return for the 2026–27 season.

@kingjames One of the biggest boss moves you could make is to join the dunk contest at 41. You dont even need anything creative. Just do distance and height dunks. A 41 year old taking off from the foul line would be legendary. A 41 year old with forehead at the rim would be nuts
